Boot Camp

The Saturday before the cohort starts. One full day of intro and training that sets the standard for the next 12 weeks.
Sat Jul 25, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM · In-person at House Eleven

What the day is for

Apart from Friday office hours, this is the one day you have to be there. It runs eight hours, in person, with the full cohort and all leads in the room. Studios meet for the first time, the discipline tracks teach process and standards, and a mock client experience lets every studio practice the model before a real client lands on Monday.

By the end of the day, the cohort should know how the program runs, what the standard is, who they are working with for the next 12 weeks, and how to use the tools they will rely on.

What we ask of mentors

Boot Camp is the big one for mentors: about 8 hours. Outside of Boot Camp, mentor time is light. Weekly Friday office hours run as 15-minute check-ins, as needed, for up to eight cohort members. See the 12-week curriculum for the weekly cadence.

Pre-Work (sent before Boot Camp)

Get set up before you arrive. A guided tutorial walks you through it, so nobody loses Saturday morning to installs or questions we could have answered sooner. We go through the curriculum and the tools together once everyone is in the room.
